For a long time, I've been searching for a way to use my technical skills for good.
As a developer, I love building things. But I've reached a point in my career where I need to build things that matter. I want to align my work with my values.
I'm incredibly grateful to share that this is happening. I've joined the Local Happinez non-profit as a Senior Volunteer Developer.
What is Local Happinez?
Local Happinez is a global platform with a simple, powerful mission: to connect local NGOs and initiatives with a global ecosystem of citizens and enterprises. It's about making local impact visible on a global scale.
My "Why"
This isn't just a side project. It's an opportunity to apply my Senior-level experience in React and Next.js to solve complex challenges for a cause I believe in.
I get to work on:
- Architecting scalable, reusable components.
- Ensuring high performance for a global user base.
- Building a platform that has a direct, positive impact.
This is the kind of "Tech for Good" that motivates me, and I'm excited to share the journey.
